Marian Academy congratulates Kaylee Lowe for her great accomplishments. Mission accomplished for Kaylee Lowe The ever-improving Kaylee Lowe has gotten her heart’s desire – gold at the Caribbean Area Squash Association Junior Championships. She has tasted other podium spots before, but the gold has always eluded her, until now, 2025 in the Cayman Islands.
She is one of four Guyanese who struck gold on the final day of the individual championship at Junior CASA.
Congratulations to Malia Blackman, 9 years old and the youngest Marian Academy pupil to write the NGSA 2025! She gained 97.52%. We are proud of her excellent results!

Marian Academy- The highly anticipated Inter House Badminton Competition took place in the school auditorium bringing together enthusiastic players, passionate supporters, and a strong spirit of sportsmanship.
Organized by Priyanna Ramdhani one of our past students and badminton coach. The event showcased the talent, determination, and discipline of students who had been training diligently in preparation for this thrilling tournament.
Our Lady of Guadalupe came first and Our Lady of Lourdes came second.
MARIAN CHESS TEAM A won 1st Place at the SCHOOL OF THE NATIONS TOURNAMENT - JUNE 11TH 2025. TEAM A: Alek Ubaldo-Singh, Micaiah Enoe, Angelina Yhap, Joseph Prendergas, Saura Ruplall (second image) got an award for Best Female in the Individual category. Aidan Tinnie (third image) got an award for 3rd place in the Individual category
June 11 was International Day of Play! Our Nursery children had great fun as they interacted with each other.
At Marian Academy play is considered one of the most transformative forces in a child’s life. It is very interesting to observe how our children explore and understand the world around them. During play they have the opportunity to articulate their hopes and dreams, learn to communicate and interact with others, express their emotions, and grow into adulthood.
The 025 ISKF-GUYANA National Independence Karate Tournament was held at Marian Academy on Saturday May 31, 2025. The following students from Marian Academy took part: Zenaide Marcus, Theodore Ganesh, Gia Mcpherson, Christopher Harrison, Nathan Browne, Emily Ibbott, Chelsea Harrison, Isabella Ganesh and Gael Mcpherson.

On Jun 1st, Marian Academy participated in the World Environmental Day Green Walk sponsored by the EPA. We congratulate everyone who worked and turned out for the Green Walk to END PLASTIC Pollution.
Four prizes were awarded to Marian Academy: 1st Best Banner, 1st Best Chant, 1st Most Uniformed, and 1st Largest Contingent. We are so proud of our teachers, students and parents who have supported us in this move to end plastic pollution!
Caring for the environment is a top priority at Marian Academy.
Marian Academy's Under-15 girls' team won their three matches this past Saturday in the Blue Water Shipping Football Competition.
