Marian Academy is Celebrating 25 Years of Our Primary and Administration Block January 15, 2001.
Today we give thanks for 25 years of our Primary and Administration Block—a place where young minds are nurtured, values are formed, and lifelong foundations are built. We honour the dedication of all who have taught, learned, and served within these walls, and we look forward with hope to many more years of growth and excellence.

20th CAC Youth Chess Festival

Marian Academy Grade 6 student, Vir Narine, is one of the team members of the Guyana Chess Team that is off to the 20th Central American and Caribbean ( CAC) Youth Chess Festival in Puerto Rico from December 14th to 21st, 2025.

Rodrigues strikes Gold again

Guyanese swimmer Ariel Rodrigues continued her dominant showing at the ASATT Invitational Meet in Trinidad and Tobago, capturing her third gold medal on Sunday with victory in the girls’ 100m backstroke.
Rodrigues touched the wall in a new national record time of 1minute 09.71 seconds, shaving nearly two seconds off the previous mark of 1 minute 11.49 seconds to secure the top spot on the podium.

Inter Guiana Games 2025

BRONZE FOR GUYANA - Marian Academy present student Jessica Sookram and sibling Jeremy Sookram, a past student were participants at the Inter Guiana Games 2025 placing Guyana in 3rd place overall in swimming.

Top scorers Micaiah Enoe and Alek Ubaldo-Singh both achieved 4 out of 5 points, alongside teammates Joseph Prendergast and Aiden Tinnie.

Led by top scorer Angelina Yhap with 3.5 out of 5 points, together with Kristin Xavier, Tharisha Montes De Oca, and Bianca Jessimy.

Congratulations to our Marian Academy Student Micaiah Enoe for being a member of the team that won gold for Guyana at the recent concluded Inter -Guiana Boy’s Chess Tournament.

Congratulations to Junior Caribbean Champion Kaylee Lowe

Congratulations to Junior Caribbean Champion Kaylee Lowe, a proud 4th Form student of Marian Academy. Lowe, who captured the Girls Under-15 title at the Caribbean Area Squash Association (CASA) Junior Championships earlier this year in the Cayman Islands, is viewed as one of Guyana’s brightest prospects in the sport.
