The 15th edition of the Marian Run delivered yet another historic race for the prestigious Beresford Trophy.
Lucas Pinol defended his title in grand style, becoming only the fourth double champion in the history of the event, winning outright in an impressive time of 6 minutes, 11 seconds.
However, the spotlight belonged to 11-year-old Haley Haberkorn. Still only in Grade 6, Haley created history by becoming the first-ever three-time champion of the classic one-mile Marian Run — a remarkable achievement at such a young age.
In the overall team competition, Our Lady of Coromoto emerged as the outright champions, racking up an impressive 172 points.
The Marian Run traditionally kicks off Marian Academy’s athletic year, and despite the unprecedented heat, this year’s edition once again delivered memorable performances, fierce competition and another chapter of history.
Congratulations to all our runners, champions, supporters and everyone who helped make the 15th Marian Run another memorable success!
